I was able to easily beat the 3rd map on nightmare with this build: If I'm able to beat it with that build, then my own builds which have worked so far have fallen out from the difficulty curve and I have to think of something else. Thank you for the comment, I'm going to try out your build next time I play. Although I'd say some evolutions are actually horrible like green lance, devs should actually tweak those asap. I don't think every weapon and every upgrade will be good, usually just 2 good weapons are enough, and since you get them through rng seems fair you sometimes have to use an inferior one. Game feels great to me, if anything I'm wondering if I'll ever need drinks and drops, only upgrade that feels mandatory is interval reduction(I get 2 on every weapon every time), I was relying on purple sickle most runs, but this time I didn't get it and it wasn't that bad. I only died once, no drops used, no drinks used.īuild was Angela with blue lance, red gun, mixed tornado (was a mistake), and blue power grid. It's like the devs never play tested their game on the hardest difficulty. Overpowered consumables are a must have to even have a small chance against him.Īfter 25+ hours of experience with all weapon evolutions discovered (except champagne, that weapon is garbage especially on nightmare), optimal weapon modifiers enabled, 2 characters maxed out and both offensive and defensive skill tree maxed out, it's still way too difficult. Specific build needed which kills player creativity and fun of the game. If you focus too much on a boss killing build, you'll get overwhelmed by his flamethrower mobs during the final phases. You always have to be on move against him because his gunshots have bad hitboxes and can easily take 1/5 of your hp per bullet if you make a mistake with your movement. If you don't have a specific single target dmg burst build against him, it can take around 6-10 minutes to kill him depending on the phase you're dealing with. After phase 1 he becomes massive hp bullet sponge, and he just gets tankier each phase. There are no words how awfully designed that boss is on nightmare.
